Responsible for both organisation and coaching, the sporting directors develop training programmes and draw up race strategies.
The managerial staff of Team Europcar is spearheaded by three men. Jean-René Bernaudeau, the general manager of the team, works in collaboration with his two sporting directors (Dominique Arnould and Ismaël Mottier) to prepare the team and work out race tactics. Each sporting director has his own area of expertise to help bring out the best in the riders. While the sporting directors are always visible and in the front row, the back room staff of Team Europcar is even larger.
